The Florida Center for Nursing was established to develop a strategic statewide plan for nursing manpower in this state and select from the plan priorities to be addressed. The Center is governed by a policy-setting board of directors who submits recommendations to legislators and other key stakeholders in Florida that, if enacted, will positively impact the ability to retain and recruit nurses in our state. The goal is to have an adequate supply of qualified nurses to meet the health and well-being needs of Florida's residents.
